HumHub is a CMS that helps you quickly create a social network similar to Facebook. With HumHub, you can create a customized social network with the advantages of being lightweight, powerful, and user-friendly, regularly updated to fix security issues and develop new features. HumHub is developed using the Yii PHP Framework.
Some hosting requirements when installing HumHub are:
- PHP version 5.6 - 7.2, MYSQL version 5.1 or higher, storage capacity of over 500MB.
- PHP Extensions: PHP GD Extension (With JPEG and PNG support), PHP CUrl Extension, PHP Multibyte String Support, PHP PDO MySQL Extension, PHP Zip Extension, PHP EXIF Extension, PHP INTL Extension, PHP FileInfo Extension.
You can install and experience HumHub directly on your server as follows:
- Go to https://humhub.org/en, select "Try Online", enter the required information, then you will receive an email to activate your account. Click on "Confirm e-mail address" in the email you just received to proceed to the next installation step.
- In the next installation step, you need to provide some information (language, social network name, purpose of use - personal, company, or club, module options, create login account), then click Next to complete the installation process.
- After completing the installation, you can log in to the newly created social network at: https://your-configured-domain.humhub.com/user/auth/login
